In our country, well-known as “podima”, a sort of ground flooring, is also called as “koine” or “krokalia” ( back of a crocodile ) in some resources or as rhoidian stone in other ones. podima means a walking path. we actually know that this sort of pebles had existed at the shores of yalıköy, its ex-name podima village - under the administration of karacaköy subdistrict ,country of çatalca, city of istanbul, Turkey.
