A Short Review on PODİMA from its history till today;

Was there such a flooring in the antics ? If there was, that was not commonly used like mosaic flooring because no single sample up to date or at least we knew was encountered.

Podima ground flooring especially plays important role in Turkish Garden. Vehbi’s written works over celebrations give important information to us on this matter. This Work contains miniatures demonstrating information in detail about XVIII.century gardens.

Miscellaneous parades and ceremonies due to circumcision ceremonies for sons of Sultan Ahmet III in 1712 were illustrated in these Albums of which miniatures are deemed to have been made by the students of Levni.
